What exactly is Coldwave? It's a difficult genre to pin down but it has roots in late 70s/early 80s industrial music, post-punk dystopia, and minimal synth. The music is often icy with atmospheric guitars and lyrics filled with dark imagery. You know Coldwave when you hear it and right now I can't get enough of it!
